All Clinic operations are under the general supervision of a physician and the SMLC Quality Committee. At each clinic, volunteers and staff help unload and set up their appropriate stations (with reasonable accommodation for those who would like assistance), so that everything is ready for patients before they arrive. After setup, all staff and volunteers participate in a meeting huddle to discuss pertinent items for the day, undergo COVID screening when appropriate, and receive name badge and patient schedule for the day. Then for those who would like, we pray together before parting to each appropriate station. All communicate and coordinate with the Site Manager throughout the day regarding patient flow and/or any issues/concerns. At the end of the clinic day, all volunteers and staff participate in clean up and reload (again, with reasonable accommodation – we are happy to help each other!). Together, we help people live their healthiest lives and we have fun!
"The clinic has offered me the chance to work with an amazing group of people (I truly mean this). The patients who come seem to be so appreciative of the work you do and the medical care they receive. I hear them say, "God Bless You", so they know the healing hands of Jesus are involved. The clinic has a loving atmosphere that offers hope to anyone entering-workers and patients." -SMLC Volunteer
